About Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG

Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, Finanz Informatik is the IT service provider for Germany's savings bank organisation, which was formed through the merger of Sparkassen Informatik and FinanzIT. The company emerged from consolidating eleven independent data centres within the savings bank organisation through mergers between 1997 and 2008. The merger of Sparkassen Informatik and FinanzIT was announced on July 15, 2008, in Frankfurt and officially took effect on October 1, 2008, retroactively from January 1, 2008. Its OSPlus platform standardises banking processes across all savings banks, allowing for efficiency, security, and innovation in financial services.
