1. Bangladesh an emerging economy set for strong growth: Bangladesh has emerged as the 39th largest in the world in the nominal terms. In terms of purchasing power parity, it is ranked 30th in the world. It is ranked among the Next Eleven emerging market middle income economies. It is one of the countries in the world which are growing at a rapid pace. According to the IMF data for the year 2019, Bangladesh's GDP per capita income is estimated at US$5,028 (PPP) and US$1,906 (nominal). The country is also part of D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

Huge demand for telecom services/online ecommerce, etc.: According to one study by USAID, there is an expectation of huge growth of around 34% in the coming years and this growth will increase this industry revenues to $5.08 billion by 2023.
