MAN Latin America has a nationwide sales and service network in Brazil and neighboring countries. Also they have a very extensive dealer network in these regions which comprises 349 dealers, including 144 exclusive sales and service partners in Brazil. To secure its current market position and future growth, MAN Truck & Bus renovated existing facilities and continued its ongoing efforts to strengthen and expand its global sales and service network.

Continuous Research and Development: Technology Leadership – which they have achieved through their continuous research and development, is their major strength which has helped them to stay ahead of the competitors and provide best solutions for the customer’s need for efficient mobility solutions. Technological

1. Integration of technology in the processes: MAN Group is influenced by the rate of technological diffusion in the process that has been going on in the industry. To keep themselves updated and improve their process, they have been constantly integrating technology in their process. The MAN Group’s business processes are intensively supported, and in some cases enabled, by information technology. For instance, they operates a continuous supplier monitoring system which helps to identify risks from any delivery delays or supplier defaults at an early stage to mitigate the impact later on. It also works vigorously and systematically to improve underlying processes with an eye toward optimizing working capital employed. Such kind of technological integration in the management systems helps them to reduce the negative impact of the production activities on the surrounding environment.

Cyber security and associated risks: Besides improving efficiency using technology, there are many risks associated with it such as system failure, disasters, technical faults or cyber-attacks, which can lead to impairing business processes or bringing them to a complete standstill. There is also the risk of unauthorized access, theft, or the destruction or other misuse of business data and information resulting in financial damage and loss of reputation.
