Opportunity
1. Toyota and Stellantis expands their partnership accelerating growth: With an agreement for a new large-size commercial van that will include a battery-electric model, Stellantis N.V. and Toyota Motor Europe N.V. announced the expansion of their current collaboration. The new vehicle represents the third body type covered by the agreement, bringing the total number of LCVs on the market to three—compact, midsize, and now large-size. The new large-size commercial van for Toyota's brand sales in Europe will be provided by Stellantis to TME. The new vehicle will be made at Stellantis' facilities in Gliwice, Poland, and Atessa, Italy. The new large-size commercial van, which is scheduled for release in the middle of 2024, will be TME's first foray into this market. With this productive engagement, Stellantis is showcasing its proficiency in the commercial vehicle market and in creating battery-electric technology that can meet a wide range of requirements. With this agreement, Stellantis will be able to maintain its leadership position among the EU30 in terms of LCVs and low-emission vehicles and take a step toward achieving its Dare Forward 2030 goal of dominating the light commercial vehicle market worldwide in terms of technology, production, market share, and profitability.

Investments in the upcoming electrified vehicle segment: As part of its sustainable transformation into the electrified SUV brand, Stellantis N.V.'s global sport utility brand, Jeep, has unveiled a plan for its upcoming generation of fully electric 4xe vehicles. By 2025, the company will release its first BEV, and by 2028, it will have an entire lineup of Chrysler electric vehicles available. The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid offers an all-electric range of more than 30 miles, more than 80 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe), and a total range of more than 500 miles. It is the first and only plug-in hybrid in the segment. Exhilarating electrified products are being offered across its portfolio of 14 adored brands as it works to introduce an additional 28 brand-new battery electric vehicles by the year 2024. At EV Day in July 2021, Stellantis announced plans to invest more than €30 billion in electrification and software development between 2021 and 2025.
